Grassroots Advocacy Specialist – Immune Deficiency Foundation

The Immune Deficiency Foundation improves the diagnosis, treatment, and quality of life of people affected by primary immunodeficiency through fostering a community empowered by advocacy, education, and research.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

IDF is searching for someone to work with the advocacy team to:

  • Develop three Advocacy Workshop web page materials and virtual webinars
  • Develop a Web-based patient engagement advocacy toolkit
  • Develop a virtual webinar to accompany the toolkit
  • Assist Government Relations Manager in coordination and implementation of advocacy workshops and webinar for patient engagement

Qualifications

Required skills:

  • Experience with advocacy or public policy issues
  • Strong organization skills and proven experience working independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to work remotely and complete the projects in the current virtual climate
  • Grassroots experience a plus

More Information

Position is Temporary (July 13 – November 6, 2020) and 24 hours per week.
