Qualifications

What You Bring:
To qualify for this unique opportunity, our ideal candidate should have the following experience and education:

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required; a graduate degree in public policy, administration, law, or business administration is preferred.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in public policy analysis, education, administration, and/or government relations/affairs.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with federal healthcare programs, commercial payers/providers, and/or managed care organizations.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills, both prepared and impromptu.
• Strong research, policy analysis, writing, and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively distill and present complex information concisely.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects while overseeing daily operations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Ability to work collaboratively with consumers, advocates, government officials, and other outside stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office, internet research, and database information systems.
• Knowledge of health care policy and hemophilia and/or blood disorders is preferred.

Where You Will Work
This position is remote and open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S. Applicants should be comfortable working remotely with a team dispersed across the country. This position requires up to 35% domestic travel (typically 2–3 times per month), often involving overnight stays. Travel includes presentations at HTC regional meetings, MASAC, and other key events. The role also entails participation in multiple in-person and virtual events annually, including our Bleeding Disorders Conference and programs hosted through the Comprehensive Care Sustainability Collaborative (CCSC).
