We Are All Patients: Real Stories. Real Impact.
Across the country, people living with chronic conditions face barriers that affect their health, their caregivers and families, and their futures. Too often, their experiences are missing from the conversations that shape policy and drive decisions in health care.
The National Health Council (NHC) is working to close that gap. With support from Novo Nordisk, we build upon the We Are All Patients campaign, with 12 powerful video stories from people living with or caring for someone with diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, or obesity. These stories reveal the day-to-day realities of chronic illness and underscore the need for patient-informed policy.
A Collective Call to Action
We Are All Patients reflects a simple truth: every decision made in health care ultimately affects someone’s life. We invite advocates, policymakers, providers, and partners to explore these stories and use them to guide action toward a healthier, more equitable future.
