Health Leadership Conference

Chief Executive Officers, Senior Executives, Board leaders, and others from some of the nation’s top patient organizations and related nonprofits gather at this conference to cultivate connections and create space for discussions on timely leadership topics, learn best practices and trends in nonprofit organization management, and discuss emerging issues in health care policy. 

Science of Patient Engagement Symposium

Research and medical leaders throughout the health care ecosystem convene for this day-and-a-half event to share experiences, accomplishments, best practices, and resulting impacts on the science of patient engagement with a broad, scientific audience.

Washington Representatives Retreat

Discuss policy developments, hear from prominent speakers, provide input in developing the NHC’s legislative priorities, and network with public policy and government relations professionals from patient advocacy and nonprofit organizations at this annual retreat.

Annual Membership Meeting & Luncheon

This NHC members-only event gives members the opportunity to convene, share knowledge, and provide input to advance the health ecosystem. Programming includes opportunities to vote on nominations for the NHC Board of Directors and to hear from a dynamic keynote speaker and the NHC’s CEO and Board Leaders on organizational priorities.

Centrally located in downtown Washington, DC, the National Health Council’s (NHC’s) new headquarters at 1730 M Street NW, Suite 650, offers an ideal location to host meetings and/or have a home base from which to work when visiting our nation’s capital. AI Note-taking Software

The National Health Council (NHC) recognizes the importance of privacy and works hard to protect information shared during NHC meetings and events from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access or disclosure. Attendees must seek approval from the NHC if they plan to utilize an AI note-taking software to transcribe an NHC meeting or event. Attendees must email nhcmeetings@nhcouncil.org to obtain permission to utilize the software during an NHC meeting or event. Attendance will be denied if NHC approval has not been provided. NHC CORPORATE HOTEL RATES

The NHC is pleased to offer its members the opportunity to take advantage of NHC corporate hotel rates at nearby hotels in Washington, DC. The following six hotels are offering the NHC’s corporate rates:

CAE Approved Provider

The National Health Council is a CAE Approved Provider. Many NHC programs meet the requirements for fulfilling the professional development requirements to earn or maintain the Certified Association Executive credential. Every program that we offer which qualifies for CAE credit will clearly identify the number of CAE credits granted for full participation, and we will maintain records of your participation in accord with CAE policies. For more information about the CAE credential or Approved Provider program, please visit www.asaecenter.org/cae.

As a CAE Approved Provider of educational program related to the CAE exam content outline, our programs may be applied for credits toward your CAE application or renewal professional development requirements. Please refer to each NHC meeting and event to learn how many CAE credits can be earned for your participation.
