(WASHINGTON, DC, August 8, 2023) At its summer meeting on July 25, the National Health Council (NHC) Board of Directors unanimously added Devin Jopp, EdD, MS, Chief Executive Officer of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC).

“As an organization, we happily welcome Devin to the NHC Board,” said Randall Rutta, Chief Executive Officer of the NHC. “Devin’s extensive health care knowledge and background combined with his role as CEO at APIC and its members, focused on infection prevention and control, is sure to be insightful as the NHC and our members navigate the health ecosystem on the heels of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Dr. Jopp brings the unique and extensive viewpoint from across the United States’ 35,000 infection preventionists and over two decades of nonprofit leadership experience to the NHC. He is filling an open vacancy on the Board, and his appointment runs through the end of 2025.
