Breshay Moore
Senior Manager, Digital Media | bmoore@nhcouncil.org
The fight for more consistent and comprehensive mental services is the driving force behind Breshay Moore’s work in the health care industry. That work currently revolves around her role as the National Health Council’s Senior Manager, Digital Media.
Since joining the NHC team in January of 2022, Moore has dedicated herself to expanding the group’s website and social media presence to thousands of new users. She previously gained valuable experience developing her digital media talents as the Communications Specialist for the Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC), managing their website and contact database.
A graduate of Towson University with a BS in Mass Communications, Moore hopes to continue strengthening the NHC’s online presence with an added focus on reaching out to younger audiences that she believes have been especially vulnerable to mental health issues, especially with the isolation and uncertainty brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a life-long advocate for mental health awareness, Moore is especially passionate about using emerging technologies to help confront the harmful stigma that continues to persist around anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.
That is why she is particularly proud of the NHC’s stance in publicly supporting the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services proposal to expand telehealth services, a move that will improve access through equitable coverage while also removing the geographic restrictions that have often frustrated residents living in underserved communities.
