Since 2017, health care researchers and medical leaders convene for this two-day event to share experiences, accomplishments, best practices, and resulting impacts on the science of patient engagement.

The 2024 Symposium brought together more than 150 leaders from patient organizations, non-profit groups, industry, academia, and government to discuss the meaningful engagement of patients and caregivers at different stages of the lifespan – through the lenses of pediatric, adolescent, young adult, adult, and aging populations. Featured speakers included Dr. Anita Ravi of PurpLE Health Foundation and FDA Principal Deputy Commissioner Dr. Namandjé Bumpus.

The 2023 Symposium featured more than 150 leaders from patient advocacy organizations, non-profit groups, industry, academia, and government to discuss the impact of recent innovations in digital health on patient engagement and health equity. Featured speakers included FDA Commissioner Dr. Robert Califf and Dr. Megan Jones Bell of Google Health.
