Linda Beza
Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration | lbeza@nhcouncil.org
Linda Beza brings a truly unique worldview to the National Health Council (NHC).
Born in Lilongwe, the capital city of Malawi, Beza grew up in a country where health care access was limited, and threats from various chronic conditions were especially pervasive at the time.
These early experiences motivated Beza to be involved in health care advocacy, which eventually led her to the NHC, which she joined in September 2021.
In her position as the NHC’s Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration, Beza leads the organizations finance, human resources, and administrative functions.
Beza has built up nearly 20 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector. Before joining the NHC, Beza worked at the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (APSP & NSPF) as Senior Director of Finance & Administration. She was instrumental in spearheading the merger of the two organizations, ensuring integrated finance & IT systems, benefits, policies, and processes as a unified organization.
Prior to the Alliance, Beza lead Finance and Human Resource functions at AAMS and NACUA with prior audit experience at Gelman Rosenberg and Freedman, specializing in nonprofits.
Beza is also a proud member of the American Society of Association Executives, the Society for Human Resource Management, and The Finance & Administration Roundtable, where she has volunteered on the audit committee.
Beza earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, University College in College Park, MD and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, MO.
