NHC Office & Meeting Spaces
Centrally located in downtown Washington, DC, the National Health Council’s (NHC’s) new headquarters at 1730 M Street NW, Suite 650, offers an ideal location to host meetings and/or have a home base from which to work when visiting our nation’s capital. The NHC is providing this offer FREE OF CHARGE to all members as an enhanced member benefit. Hours of Operation
The National Health Council is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern.
In-Person Meetings
Spaces available for use include both small (Coalition Room) and large conference (Advocacy Room) rooms equipped with access to video and audio teleconferencing that can accommodate 5–40 people, depending on room set-up (e.g., hollow square, pods, theatre, etc.).
Office Hoteling
If you or members of your organization traveling to DC are in need of office space, we have fully equipped offices available for hourly, daily, or weekly use.

Refreshments/Meals
The National Health Council does not provide catering services. However, NHC members may utilize outside catering or food delivery services from nearby sandwich/salad shops, restaurants, or catering companies for their event meals. To support your event needs, NHC has compiled a list of nearby food offerings. NHC staff can provide support in ordering catering for meals and refreshments as needed.
Audiovisual/Multimedia Services
We offer a full range of AV equipment and interactive technologies with NHC staff support to meet your needs. Wi-Fi is available throughout the office suite.
Staffing
There will be a dedicated point of contact for the event who will assist with ensuring proper room set-up and be onsite to greet the NHC Member group on the day of the event and provide troubleshooting as needed. The NHC member organization will be responsible for staffing their event and covering all event activities, including registration/welcome.
Getting to NHC
Nearest Parking Garage. An on-site parking garage, provided by Parking Management, Inc., is available 24/7 with valet. Drivers are expected to pay the parking fees when they exit – both cash and credit cards are accepted. There are two entrance/exit locations – 1730 M St NW and 1725 DeSales Street NW. Metro Stop
