Amazon HQ2
The 2026 Science for Patient Engagement Summit, Turning Evidence into Impact, will take place at Amazon HQ2, (510 14th Street South in Arlington, VA) within the Metropolitan Park campus at National Landing. The event will be held on the second floor of the Merlin Building. Attendees should enter through the main entrance on 14th Street South. Just minutes from Washington, DC, across the Potomac River, this state-of-the-art facility provides a secure, private venue that is not open to the public.

Please note: Attendees will need a government issued ID to access the event facility and to check in at the NHC registration desk.

Amazon’s HQ2 was designed with sustainability at its core and offers convenient access for both employees and visitors. To support these efforts, we encourage attendees to use public transportation or rideshare options whenever possible.

Metro Stop
Traveling via WMATA is highly encouraged. Amazon’s Arlington headquarters is located near the Blue and Yellow Metro lines, with the Pentagon City and Crystal City stations each less than a 10-minute walk away. For MARC and Amtrak travelers, transfers to Metro are available at Union Station, and VRE service is accessible through the Crystal City Station.

Nearby Hotels
The National Health Council has secured a limited room block at the AC Hotel Arlington National Landing for attendees of the 2026 Science of Patient Engagement Summit. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Amazon HQ2, offers easy airport access via a complimentary shuttle, and is just steps from the Crystal City Metro Station. Parking
The nearest public parking garage is located at 1372 South Fern Street. Attendees may also explore additional nearby garages or use parking apps such as SpotHero, Park Whiz, or Parking.com to find and reserve a spot in advance. We recommend pre‑booking parking to ensure a smooth and timely arrival.

Rideshare
The designated rideshare pickup and drop-off location for the Amazon HQ2 Merlin building is on S Elm Street. However, when setting your destination in a rideshare app, please enter: 510 14th Street South, Arlington, VA 22202.

Airport
