The NHC’s Health Equity Connect community launches this week for members interested in learning and engaging on health equity content and topics. This is your opportunity to interact with colleagues from other NHC member organizations on the evolving nature of the health equity landscape.  

Health Equity Connect is a dedicated online community for health care professionals, organizations, and advocates working to advance health equity. This collaborative, secure space supports the exchange of ideas, tools, and strategies to reduce disparities, promote inclusive care, and drive systemic change across the health care landscape. Health equity staff members of NHC organizations are encouraged to use the platform for dynamic, timely discussions to tackle challenges and embrace opportunities facing the patient community.   

This vibrant community offers many opportunities to engage with colleagues and promote health equity:

• • Collaborate with other health equity interested NHC members around common areas of interest, challenges, opportunities, and more.    
  • Promote and learn about upcoming events and activities such as webinars, conferences, and other gatherings.    
  • Share and discover resources, campaigns, best practices, study findings, and other content.   
  • Ask for input and guidance on cross-cutting topics and areas of need.    
  • Brainstorm and “crowdsource” ideas with colleagues.   
  • Continue conversations and ideas exchange following in-person and virtual events.   
  • Access NHC member-only materials, information, and resources.    

We are excited to see this community flourish and evolve, and we look forward to active participation from health equity champions.
