The National Health Council (NHC) annual Washington Representatives Retreat for NHC member public policy and government relations professionals gives our members an opportunity to discuss major policy developments and emerging issues, provide input on the NHC’s policy priorities, and network with colleagues.
This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we, with our Washington Representatives Retreat Planning Committee, are designing a virtual event on Wednesday, Nov. 18 to Friday, Nov. 20 from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. ET each day.
Registration will open in a couple of weeks for our patient organizations and sponsoring business and industry members. For more information on sponsoring this event, please contact Mary Crowther, Associate, Development.
This year the themes and topics include a Deep Dive into Relevant Policy Issues, Planning for 2021 and Beyond, Health Equity, and Communications and Advocacy Processes in the Virtual New World.
To learn more about the retreat, please check out our website, and for an in-depth summary of the 2019 WRR, please read our blog. If you have any questions regarding the upcoming Retreat, please reach out to Maddie Mason, Senior Associate, Policy.
