

NHC Connect: Exciting New Member Benefit Is On the Horizon!

Ever wanted to tap the collective experience and knowledge of the National Health Council (NHC) and its membership with just the touch of a button? NHC Connect can make that happen!
NHC Connect is a web-based community where NHC members can access critical information and content to drive strategic policy impact and directly engage with each other. This new resource, tailored to the needs of NHC members, is designed to help organizations advance mission priorities.
At NHC Connect, the NHC has created a robust community atmosphere where collaboration is foundational. Together with you, our members, the NHC continues its efforts to transform and innovate the health care ecosystem to support people with chronic diseases and disabilities in achieving their best possible health outcomes.

On June 17 during the Washington Representatives Summer Meeting in Washington, DC, NHC Connect launched the Policy Resource Community. Within this community, federal policy staff members in our Patient Organization and Partner of Patient Organizations member categories, are now able to:
- Connect with NHC members to discuss common areas of interest and seek advice about current challenges and opportunities
- Learn about NHC events
- Access NHC policy-related resources
- Share information about your policy-related events
- Share your policy-related resources
- Access six Avalere Federal Policy 360 resources per quarter
The federal policy staff members with our NHC Business & Industry members can also access NHC Connect where they can retrieve materials relevant to the monthly Government Relations Action Team (GRAT) meetings and draft NHC policy comment letters.
And the Policy Resource Library and GRAT Resource Library are just this valuable platform’s first phase. The NHC plans to grow NHC Connect, creating new communities based on member engagement and feedback. More details to come!
