Registration Now Open: 2019 Science of Patient Engagement Symposium

The National Health Council (NHC) is excited to welcome research leaders, and anyone interested in the science of patient engagement to register for our annual Symposium on Oct. 28-29 in Washington, DC. At this meeting, participants share – with a broad scientific audience – their experiences, accomplishments, best practices, and resulting impact on medicine and science regarding patient centricity.
This year’s theme is Using Data Science, Technology, and Patient Engagement to Personalize Health Care. Our agenda promises to be energetic and thought-provoking. It includes two dynamic keynote speakers.
The first is Robert M. Califf, MD, MACC, Vice Chancellor for Health Data Science, Donald F. Fortin, MD Professor of Cardiology, Director, Duke Forge at Duke University, and Advisor for Verily Life Science, who will speak on “Technology-Enabled Health Care: Can We Achieve Personalized Approaches to Health?”
Second will be Javier Jimenez, MD, Vice President, Global Head, Real World Evidence and Clinical Outcomes at Sanofi, who will discuss, “Emerging Data Technologies: Changing Medicines and Health Services.”
