Golf Outing
Fort Lauderdale is a fantastic golf destination for its variety of courses, year-round play, scenic beauty, and ease of accessibility. The area boasts a variety of over 35 world-class golf courses, which ensures that golfers of all skill levels can find a course to suit their preferences. We encourage attendees to plan a golf outing at one of the nearby golf courses in the Fort Lauderdale area.

The Historic Stranahan House Museum
Tuesday, Feb. 4 | 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

The Historic Stranahan House Museum is Fort Lauderdale’s oldest surviving structure, steeped in history. Built in 1901, the Stranahan House has been central to Fort Lauderdale’s development, significantly influencing the city’s economic and social life. An experienced docent will lead attendees through the museum, sharing captivating stories about the house, the founding Stranahan family, and the growth of Fort Lauderdale. If you choose to participate, please note that the NHC will make a pre-paid reservation for your slot. Please ensure your travel arrangements allow you to arrive on time. Pre-registration is required.

NHC’s Community Connect – The Pantry of Broward, Inc.
Tuesday, Feb. 4 | 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

The Pantry of Broward serves seniors in need living on low, fixed incomes and grandparents raising their grandchildren. This volunteer opportunity may include receiving, weighing, and inventorying food donations, stocking warehouse shelves, and packaging food boxes for their clients. If you choose to participate, please ensure your travel arrangements allow you to arrive on time for this volunteer activity. Pre-registration is required.

Discussion Roundtables

Join us for engaging and interactive discussion roundtables designed to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among conference attendees. These roundtables will occur during breakfast and lunch and provide unique opportunities for participants to delve into specific topics, share experiences, exchange ideas, and explore innovative solutions to common challenges. Don’t miss this chance to connect, learn, and grow with fellow leaders.

Executive Coaching Sessions
Wednesday, Feb. 5 | 9:00 a.m. –  5:00 p.m.

The NHC is excited to announce a partnership with Brad Kerschensteiner, President of Kerschensteiner Executive Coaching & Training, to offer CEOs and Board Leaders of patient organizations and partners of patient organizations the chance to participate in focused, high-impact mini-coaching sessions. These 20-minute individual sessions will address specific leadership challenges, opportunities, strategies, and goals and will take place onsite at the conference. Participants are expected to complete pre-work before their session, and a follow-up post-assessment will be provided after the conference concludes. Appointments are limited and pre-registration is required.

Opening & Networking Reception

Join us for an evening of networking at our opening reception. Mingle with fellow attendees while enjoying live music, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and refreshments.

Health & Wellness Activity – Sound Bath Meditation
Wednesday, Feb. 5 | 6:30 – 7:15 a.m.

Everyone can benefit from self-care and stress relief. This class offers sound meditation using a variety of instruments to help participants achieve a deeply meditative state, providing rapid rejuvenation and rest. Participants will be guided through verbal meditations that transition into a soothing journey of sound.

No equipment is needed. Pre-registration is required.

Back by popular demand, this informal session provides a unique platform to share success stories, “ah ha” moments, emerging best practices, pitfalls to avoid, partner opportunities, and other news that will inform and inspire your colleagues. Each “Show & Tell” speaker will have five minutes. To guarantee your stage time, sign up in advance! 

Partner Networking Reception
Wednesday, Feb. 5 | 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Connect with other event attendees on topics of mutual interest. Reception includes live music, light hors d’oeuvres, and refreshments.
