The National Health Council (NHC) will host an invitation-only roundtable discussion on Wednesday, July 8, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. ET. This session builds on the series of dialogues NHC has convened between the patient community and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), with a focus on the implementation of the IPAY 2028 Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program. Patient organizations that have participated in CMS patient engagement activities are encouraged to attend.

CMS has underscored the importance of incorporating patient, caregiver, and advocate perspectives to ensure drug pricing policies reflect real-world needs and experiences. As the third negotiation cycle approaches, CMS has shown a willingness to engage with stakeholder feedback, and we look forward to continuing this collaboration. This roundtable provides an important opportunity to elevate the patient voice and help inform decisions that affect access and affordability.
