This month, the National Health Council (NHC) is convening to have a free-ranging discussion of AI and related issues that are affecting patients and patient organizations. Specifically, you are invited to share your experiences to-date, successes, concerns, ideas, and priorities concerning the application of AI in all aspects of activity, including finance, HR, IT, governance, communications and marketing, fundraising, research, patient education and support, patient registries, and advocacy.
Join to share insights, learn from your peers, and help shape the future of AI for the patient. Please sign up in advance to speak on one or more of the areas listed above or bring to the table an area related to AI not mentioned above. Email Spencer Morrissey (smorrissey@nhcouncil.org) to sign up.
The August Town Hall directly responds to a request by the NHC Special Committee on AI, which is charged with overseeing the NHC’s AI initiative, to identify issues of greatest interest to the AI Affinity Group. Your discussion on Aug. 28 will inform the Special Committee on AI’s approach for addressing AI in the new Strategic Plan for 2025 – 2027 and all related efforts by the NHC to assure that patients and patients health are core to AI development and use.
Who Should Attend
Open to all NHC members, this meeting is designed for CEOs and CEO-designated senior staff of NHC patient organizations and partners of patient organizations, as well as representatives from our business and industry members.
