Amputee Coalition
An amputation is the loss of a limb, or birth condition in which a person is born with a limb difference. Almost 2 million Americans have experienced amputation or were born with limb difference. The Amputee Coalition mission is to reach out to and empower people affected by limb loss to achieve their full potential through education, support and advocacy, and to promote limb loss prevention.
