Epilepsy Foundation
Epilepsy is a neurological condition that effects the nervous system and causes seizures. It is usually diagnosed after a person has had at least two seizures (or after one seizure with a high risk for more) that were not caused by some known medical condition. The Epilepsy Foundation mission is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.
