Family Heart Foundation

The mission of the Family Heart Foundation is to save generations of families from heart disease and stroke through timely identification and improved care of Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) and elevated Lipoprotein(a) (Lp(a)). FH and high Lp(a) are both common but underdiagnosed genetic disorders that increase the risk for early cardiovascular disease, affecting adults and children of all races and ethnicities. Through research, advocacy, and education we play a critical role in driving change and empowering families to navigate their own health.
