Guillain-Barre’ syndrome (GBS) is an chronic inflammatory disorder of the peripheral nerves outside of the brain and spinal cord. Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP) is a rare disorder of the peripheral nerves. The GBS|CIDP Foundation is dedicated to supporting individuals and their families affected by Guillain-Barre’ syndrome (GBS), chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), and related conditions through a commitment to support, education, research and advocacy.
