Eric Racine Joins National Health Council Board of Directors

(WASHINGTON, DC, May 31, 2022) At its March meeting, the National Health Council (NHC) Board of Directors unanimously added Eric Racine, PharmD, MBA, Vice President & Head, US Public Affairs & Patient Advocacy at Sanofi.

“As we work to implement the NHC’s new strategic plan, Eric will provide valuable input and guidance as a new member of the Board,” said LaVarne Burton, President & Chief Executive Officer, American Kidney Fund, and the Chairperson of the 2022 NHC Board of Directors. “I, and the other members of the NHC Board, welcome and look forward to collaborating with Eric.”

“I am excited and honored to have Eric join the NHC Board,” said Randall Rutta, Chief Executive Officer of the NHC. “Eric is a true champion for patient engagement and has been contributing to advance the NHC’s patient-centered priorities. His critical expertise during challenging times will directly enhance our advocacy for people with chronic diseases and disabilities.”

Racine is filling the open seat left vacant by Tanisha Carino formerly of Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. His appointment runs through the end of 2022.
