The National Health Council (NHC) welcomes partnership proposals that address broad health ecosystem issues and elevate the patient voice. We encourage potential collaborators to contact us as early as possible to explore potential partnerships. This helps us engage as true partners to co-develop project objectives and deliverables.  

By engaging with us early, we can better assess if and how: 

• Project objectives align with the NHC’s mission and strategic priorities; 
• The project complements and does not duplicate current or past NHC work or that of our members; 
• The NHC’s role is clearly articulated and compatible with our skillset; 
• The NHC team has the capacity to successfully complete the partnership objectives. 

As a nonprofit organization, it is critical that any partnership adequately allocate resources for NHC staff time and other expenses related to the collaboration. Please use our Patient Engagement Fair-Market Value Calculator to help determine appropriate compensation.
