Leveraging the NHC’s extensive reach into the patient community via member organizations and partners touch the lives of some 200 million people with chronic conditions and disabilities, the Center helps innovators identify and strategically engage patient expertise. Best practice research and innovation, business efficiencies, regulatory progress, and market access are all enhanced when patient needs and perspectives are embedded in the design, development, and deployment of AI tools and technologies. Innovators are encouraged to engage Center staff early in plans that call or will call for patient input, participation, and support.
