Real-world data (RWD) is generated through everyday interactions between patients and health care providers. For example, RWD is generated by text inputted into electronic health records, claims processed by our health insurers, and lab work. Collectively, these data make up real-world databases that are analyzed to develop real-world evidence.

Our speakers will discuss the opportunities to ensure relevant data are collected and highlight a case example of how the FH Foundation is using a machine learning model to not only identify individuals who may have FH, but also flag these individuals for additional screening by their health care providers.
