Women’s Health

Susan Winckler is CEO of the Reagan-Udall Foundation for the FDA, a non-profit organization established by Congress to advance regulatory science and support the mission of the FDA. As a pharmacist and lawyer by training, Ms. Winckler views public health and the quality of medicines from a unique vantage point. In her career, she has worked with state and federal government agencies, most notably, as the former Chief of Staff for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) within the Department of Health and Human Services. Ms. Winckler has also served as the President and CEO of the Food and Drug Law Institute, a nonprofit organization whose conferences, publications, and other programs give members opportunities to interact and discuss food and drug law issues.

Beth Battaglino is the CEO of HealthyWomen, a women’s health website that connects millions of women across the country through its wide program distribution and innovative use of technology. Ms. Battaglino has worked in the health care industry for more than 25 years helping to define and drive public education programs on a broad range of women’s health issues. In addition to her leadership at HealthyWomen, Beth is also a practicing nurse in maternal child health, helping welcome new babies into the world.
